Another project is to make the LGBT faculty and staff
more aware of the domestic partner benefits that are currently available
to them, i.e. Campus Recreation Center membership, discount tickets to
performances at Centennial Hall, Career Services' spouse/partner relocation
program. At the same time, our goal is to educate
the campus community of the inequity of so many other benefits that are
afforded only to heterosexuals, i.e. health benefits, family bereavement
leave, spousal tuition waiver, etc...
